Dr. Paul Landry joined Texan Eye in 2024 and is currently accepting new patients. He is a certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Landry received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Houston, where his subsequent corneal health research led to peer-reviewed publications and sparked his passion for eye care. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, then spent several years practicing optometry in New York City before returning to Texas in 2023 to be closer to family.

As a comprehensive optometrist, Dr. Landry is skilled in the management of a wide range of ocular diseases and the co-management of cataract and refractive surgery patients. He also sees patients for routine vision care including glasses prescriptions and specialty contact lens fittings. As a seasoned surgical planner, he collaborates closely with Texan Eye’s ophthalmologists to manage surgical cases. Dr. Landry holds specialized certification from RxSight in performing post-operative adjustments and light treatments for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) — ensuring patients who receive this technology achieve their best possible visual outcome. He lives in Austin with his family.
